Last weekend (23 at 25 February 2018) took place the chocolate show in Tours (Indre-et-Loire) with the presence of a well-known Chef ...
The opportunity for Jérôme of our site Outilsdecuisine.com to go to meet Cyril LIGNAC :-)
Saturday 23 February, 14h, and already a long queue outside ... and it's cold, very cold !! But we are motivated to meet the Chef, exchange some words and advice with him, buy his new book to have it signed and immortalize the moment on the cell phone! And of course, greedy that we are, feast our eyes (at first) of these magnificent chocolate works of art then our taste buds of course!
Once back in the lounge and after paying our tickets, we have to queue again, the one that leads to Cyril LIGNAC. After a little less than an hour and a half here we are in front of him :-) A hyper laid-back chef, who jokes, who smiles, who exchanges, who tutor me (we are almost the same age!). We speak patisserie obviously and also a little business (but it will remain confidential!).
In short a short exchange course (we must leave room for others) but very nice and rewarding. Cyril LIGNAC is faithful to the image he projects on TV or in the media.
Once recovered from our emotions towards the stands of the show (we are also here for that!).
On a large table surrounded by a cordon of security are exposed the best creations of a contest: all more beautiful ones than the others ...
For the most "cerebral" lectures were given, such as "the benefits of chocolate on health" in the company of nutritionists etc.

And to finish take out the wallet and get ready to taste along these long aisles of chocolate exhibitors, offering organic products, gluten-free, colored chocolates, figurines etc ... there is something for you. every taste !
The day comes to an end, we will be able to go back to drink a good hot chocolate and to taste our purchases, strongly next year! We end of course this article with Chef Cyril LIGNAC.
